FCI Secretary’s Report 2009
This year has seen the usual activities plus some extras. The Annual FCI Day was held on October 4th 2008, when Rev Suresh Kumar was the celebrant, Rev Nigel Uden, preacher and Dr Daleep Mukarji the afternoon speaker. The amended constitution was adopted. Two regular meetings of the Management Committee were held, the publicity leaflet has been revised and the St Thomas Unity Lecture was delivered at 7 venues around the UK by Rev Dr Joshva Raja, a lecturer at The Queens Ecumenical Centre in Birmingham. There will be one more lecture in Edinburgh in October. We have welcomed Rev Dr Timothy Mark to the committee as editor of Pilgrim and are grateful that Rev Dr Gordon Shaw has taken on the work of treasurer till the end of this financial year. Membership of FCI is about 349 including 4 group memberships. We would like more members and encourage you to make use of the revised leaflet.
In closing I would like to thank my fellow committee members for all the ways they give support, taking on various tasks, encouraging each other and attending the committee meetings each year.
